Delta Lake Liquid Clustering in databricks

Once we create a table with clustering, optimization is sorted? We need not have to run optimize or anything again?

Great explanation about the Hilbert curve. But could not grasp one thing. The following contradict 1. Tables with liquid clustering does not allow Optimize 2. Trigger Clustering via Optimize command

For Point 1 : As the table is already clustered , it won't allow to run optimize as its already optimized along with zordering . it's like doing the same thing again manually which databricks has done it for us For Point 2 : If the Table is Non clustered or you want to add or remove the columns from the cluster by using the alter table statement , in that case you will have to run the optimize statement after the alter table statement . then only the new clustering will come into effect.
