thanks for stopping by! So far they are by far the most cushioned hiking shoe I own. Banff is going to be a great testing ground for them. Stay tuned!

Thanks for your video. I bought these (green) almost a month ago. It has gotten colder and wetter where I am and I walk my dog for about 4+ hrs every day on trail walks and through parks… I have destroyed several of my On running shoes doing this (stupid me)… These are light but solid and sturdy. The material is way rougher, but still the lightest if u compare them to the usuals (north face, columbia and even clarks)… Pricey? I think the price is almost paid already… now, one important thing: there is a waterproof version and a “water resistant” version… I got only the water resistant cause my size wasnt available. From the color scheme u are showing in the video that is the water resistant too. The colors for waterproof differ quite a bit… One last thing: I’d say they are “only a tad wide” - my feet are not really wide and I manage to keep them snuggled with the shoelaces tight. I agree 100% with the cushioning- this is by far the most cushion I hace gotten on this kind of shoe…

3:48 What do you mean by: "if you try to go really low key on things, it can be a little tough"? Are you talking about the look or something else?

These are thick shoes. If you are trying to do a small carry on these are going to take up a lot of space vs the cloud 5 coast, which fold down small. Also, when you are wearing them, they aren't subtle. They look like a wide and thick running shoe, which isn't a bad thing, but some folks want comfort without it being gaudy.

Does it squeak if water has gone through the soles?
@RootedConsulting4 ай бұрын
Unfortunatley we find it does. It's not too bad and not as noticable on the trail. Maybe a great suppliment for. a bear bell :-)

Do you think it's comfortable enough to use them as normal walking shoe? I would like some trail running, but I would also like to use these casually and normally

They are fantastic for walking. I've been using them on and off the trail and they are great. Way more cushion then regular On's. Highly recommend. If you aren't doing as much trail walking check out the Cloud Surfer or Cloud Runner. Both have good cushion and grip.

Appreciate the video! I’m considering these for a trip to Central Asia (equal parts urban and trail - they would be my primary shoe on this trip). Not sure if you’ve traveled to Banff yet, but any additional thoughts/cautions? Any notes on breathability/ventilation? Cheers!

They breathe well and living in South Louisiana thats very important. The cushion is far better than I orignally expected. The new Cloud Surfer kicked off this style of cloud tech and I am here for it. I have been wearing them sparingly but so far very impressed.

Can you use this for long runs?

100% they are the most cushioned trail shoe I have worn. Not great for city runs though. Cloud Stratus, Cloud Surfer and Cloud Monstor would be the city run equivilant.
