Idea: Enemy encyclopedia. A place where we can see all the models of enemies and learn about there strengths and weaknesses once we’ve killed them. I’d really love to be able to look at there models and appreciate all the biology and construction of the enemies.

The Encyclopedia is brilliant. Not all Helldivers should have to learn from experience. There are those of us who learned by paying attention in school. The scout helmet idea is brilliant too but I think that's pushing it if we are being honest. What I do think is that Scout gear should leave your radar up for peak situational awareness. I think scout gear could also offer improvements to sniper weapons. Viewing through your scope could offer an enemy outline to help us identify targets through smoke? Or maybe instead, marking enemies outlines them for all Helldivers.

Or some way to fix/rearm the mechs in the field. Their limited ammo capacity and the sometimes insane amount of enemies that soak up all the damage they can dish out, combined with their cap of two uses with around a 15 minute cooldown makes their utility extremely limited and niche use cases. They are also aggro magnets which is understandable given how big they are. But that also means they tend to die fast, especially on bot missions when they get focus fired on by every enemy with a gun. Like why bring a mech when you can just get another eagle/orbital/sentry stratagem which in most cases other than the orbital laser has significantly more uses per mission? It's so depressing seeing someone bring a mech, and then they basically abandon it the moment the arms are destroyed or they run out of ammo for it.

I'd kinda want to see larger ships with significant stratagem stock improvements for level 150+ (more lasers, faster stratagem cooldowns, more eagle runs, etc). Super Cruisers? Super Carriers? Someone in the level 150+ range joining your game should mean something hecking big is gonna happen.

currently we all have super destroyers, i would like a progression system so from level 1-50 you are in a super destroyer, 50-100 you can get something to the equivalent to a super cruiser and once you get to 150 a super battleship and if they add more ranks a super carrier.

id like to see capes for completing a super helldive campaign for each faction, a skin or weapon that's for someone of high skill foremost, like the halo haybusa armor. I think these would be sick even if I couldn't earn them. Reward those high level high skill players, make it feel like a general has showed up on the battlefield. They rely on their skill but they have a helmet or something to indicate they are a force of reckoning

Thanks to the illuminate and running solo 10s ive now seen that the bots are a lot easier now that i have a greater understanding of the game. Plus the bots feel fresh after fighting squids for so long!

People will downplay the illuminate due to past experiences with the bots. But Iagree, the illuminate are a little harder. Especially those annoying elevated overseers. People love to sleep on the automatons, and higher death counts after the illuminate release with experiences on them still speaks volume.

I hope we get something for calypso and other major story events, because we had an overwhelming victory against the illuminate we weren't supposed to win a level 96 invasion. We only won due to the sheer amount of players. I personally think the illuminate are harder solo, because you gotta bring a loadout for some tougher enemies and swarms. We haven't seen their full units yet.

a big free warbond for the anniversary would be great. Would be a good place to put in FRV colours, and potentially even something like armour colours to fill the pages. As well as the expected stratagems, weapons, armours etc. Even the customisation rumours like silencers could be in a free warbond. Bigger magazines, even alternate ammo types.

All we know about Brasch can maybe come from the tutorial as well as the animated video "Lore-accurate General Brasch" So here's a summary of what I believe we know about General Brasch: 1. His armor seems to be most similar to the SR-18 Roadblock from the Urban Legends Warbond, with his helmet being the DP-40 Hero of the Federation from the Standard Warbond. The cape he dons is the Foesmasher default cape which every Helldiver receives upon graduating his training. 2. He dual wields two P-4 Senators and does not use a Primary Weapon, instead opting to "Liberate" the laser weapons from the Automaton hands and use it to dish out even more managed democracy. (He’s a botdiver let’s gooooo) 3. He is one of the only -- if not the only -- person who has access to the special "Liber-tea" stim 4. His preferred explosive seems to be a suplex, as seen in the incredibly trustworthy and democratic footage of "Lore-Accurate General Brasch" where he used a suplex to flip over an automaton tank. 5. His armor is so strong that he is quite literally "cover" which automaton bullets can not pierce 6. He has a special stratagem which allows him to call three eagles to spray the white, yellow, and blue colors of the Super Earth Flag, though the buffs or actions of this stratagem is unclear. I may be missing a few things so just add extra shit I overlooked in the replies

I've had the idea of special ship modules based around the end of the mission timer floating in my head for a while. "Auxiliary Fuel Tank: Allows Eagle-based stratagems to be used for 1 minute after destroyer departure." "Secure Extraction: Deploys one of each equipped sentry/emplacement at a semi-random location near the extraction point upon destroyer departure. (Ignores active cooldowns)" "Emergency Care Package: Drops a resupply pod near the extraction point upon destroyer departure. (Ignores cooldown, only applies once in a mission regardless of how many squad mates have it.)" I want to come up with one for orbital strikes, but nothing really makes sense.

The naming conventions of the titles up to Level 150 actually set things up perfectly for a Prestige system, because it loops you back around to "Super Private". If they do something like that, instead of making players overtly more powerful during missions, perhaps they could provide boosts to players' individual impact on the metagame (i.e. Liberation & Defense Campaign Contribution, D.S.S. Donation Caps) so that long-standing veterans could pull more weight as the life cycle of the game goes on, without newer or less frequent players feeling like they're being overshadowed in the boots-on-the-ground gameplay. Would also considerably help the overall war effort's ability to handle multiple fronts over time, and would contribute to playerbase longevity by alleviating frustration when it comes to dicey / borderline unfair M.O.s

Problem being that Liberation % is heavily soft capped. Whether there's 10000 divers or 200000 divers on, we get effectively the same amount of liberation/hour. Increasing the impact of veterans would mathematically reduce the impact of new players.

@@xraze6906 It's soft-capped based off of how many drops are happening over the course of a certain time period, instead of raw numerical liberation itself, iirc. Increasing the average liberation per mission would gradually push up that soft cap as the playerbase gets more and more prestige, theoretically. (According to Eravin, getting 4 Contribution from 4 Trivial drops is mathematically less helpful than getting 4 Contribution from a single Hard drop)

Honestly I like the idea of a simulation room on the Destroyer more. U go into a room and basically can choose the setting/map/area to test out various weapons against various bugs. And because its just a simulation it could be any setting of our choosing.

Include a Weapon/Stratagem Directive/Stat progression. Basically a system that tracks your kills with specific weapons/weapon Types. Like if you used the regular Liberator a lot, you'd originally start off on the Liberator's 'Beginner' Rank, but with each level from like Beginner to then Novice, you'd get a reward for 'Leveling Up' your Weapon Stats, and for each Level Up you'd get a reward. Something Like Medals on the Earlier Levels like Beginner and Novice. Beginner->Novice->Expert->Master. Then when you finish the Expert and Master Ranks you earn Super Credits for both. You'll be able to finish these ranks for specific weapons and General Weapon Types, Like AR's, ShotGuns, SMG's, Ect. And when you fully Maxed out one full Weapon Type you’ll Unlock a New Title that you will be able wear that shows that you finished a Weapon Type, ‘Assault Rifle Expert’, Shotgun Expert’, and so on. And for each weapon you fully rank up you’ll be able to unlock a special Skin for the fully maxed out Weapon. Did you Max out the Base Liberator? You get a Special Skin for it. And this would continue for each Weapon that you Unlocked. These Stats/Rewards would also extend to Stratagem Weapons, like the Stalwart, Laser Cannon, AMR. This kind of Progression would allow the entire PlayerBase to feel rewarded for using their favourite weapons while also incentivizing Experimentation.

If they're going to introduce new upgrade modules, either all long time players will unlock it in no time, as they have already enough reqs and samples, or the massive price gap between new and old upgrades (to prevent this) will discourage new players from grinding. Upgrade Teir System for Weapons and Stratagems that use samples to upgrade ammo amount, weapon damage increase, bombs dropped/duration, increase damage resistant, etc. Once they cap out, excess warbonds could be used for further upgrades.

A prestige level system could be fun and challenging especially for those who want challenge. It could be a toggle and while prestige mode is on only Impossible to Super Helldive are available. You use the "basic" weapons, armor, and strats, or some of the Steeled Veterans weapons, and the experimentals on the planets can be used. Each completed prestige gives you a unique armor or weapon skin with a title you can use in the regular mode. Idk it's just something I thought of just now.

My theory is the sentient lifeforms on the jungle planet are Predators or a heavily inspired enemy from them and we will get a limited time enemy and mission event. This may then pop up periodically. What would be cool about this is the vast change in gameplay being hunted by limited but very poweful enemies. The theory draws on some things being mentioned in the past: * Pilestedt was interested in a cross over with Predator. * Pilesedt discussed limited time cross overs and the possibility of enemies being limited time to not dilute the experience of Helldivers. *Leaked Warbond spoiler warning: The Primal Warbond asthetics seems to fit taking trophies from a hunt.

When i was a kid i was playing a game called karahan online. In that game when u reach to a certain level, it resets ur level to 1 but adds a title. Like 150 is 150 but 151 is like "master 1" 152 like "master 2" . and after reaching to master, experience needed between master 1 and master 2 is the total sum of previous 150 levels. and its also same between M2 - M3 (2x exp of 150 lvls since it also includes M1). In that way other player can now that how much u really put into this game and how pro u are. This can be also great on helldivrs.

I think a recon drone with built in explosives would be cool. Could launch it, and help locate objectives and items across the map and would be perfect for planets that have the mist or gloom over the mini map. And an explosive charge so you can ram it into an enemy and watch it explode.

Suggestion for progression they should go up to level 250 once you hit that it gives you the option to go prestige. Once you go prestige, it's like a reset. You go back to lvl 1 but there's a symbol that shows that your prestige, You still keep all the warbond stuff but you need to re buy all the main stratagems and ship upgrades all over again

i wish there was something good to do with requisition points and samples after you max everything i play most of the time on difficulty 10 and most of the matches the higher level players complete ignore the samples on the map so someone who haven't upgrade everything yet has to try and get the samples alone or find a team who is focusing on samples

It's hard to really throw out suggestions without truly understanding the game's limitations. For example, I think the leveling could be given a soft reboot where you start back at level 1. However, your Diver is labeled as a CSD aka Cold Storage Diver. A veteran of the first Galactic War who was kept on ice until now. Then introduce a rewards program for leveling much like Borderlands where you can apply small passive bonuses to your character that can builds up the more you participate in the game.

I would rather see a prestige system after lvl 150, but relock all the stratagems until you "lvl" back up to the appropriate lvl to reunlock them, but once they are reunlocked give them a "slight" boost, ie: faster cool down, some eagles might get another use before rearm such and such.

Prestige is the proper answer . High level players want to flex time/experience in game and a prestige title can go on for a long time .

Last night the bots had a huge boost to their numbers before mastia was liberated, we cleared the map and the swarmed the extraction like never before, it was wild.

I think a prestige system would be dope, but make the rewards for prestigeing like new armor sets with better passives, capes, and weapons. It gives the player something to grind for. You'll have to rework the level system because I don't think having to grind to level 150 would be reasonable. That's just my opinion tho 🤷

cape changes on our helldiver should change the banners in the SD to the same design as the cape , like the ones on the bridge area. a simple way to spice it up

I just hit level 150, took me 510 hours. Aside from a title I would love to have something that proves hitting 150 means something other than not touching grass. Having prestige levels wouldn't be a bad idea but give me something to aid in the war effort proving my veterancy. For a shooting range give us a planet slightly outside the average range of the enemies and make it a major order to take a planet and set up a weapon and strategem testing ground.

The way they could do levels is just give us Rank Titles in segments of Nouns and Adjectives. The first 50 Levels would unlock all the baseline Ranks like Captain, Marshal, Admiral and so forth. The second 50 Levels would allow us to add a Super infront of each. The third 50 Levels would unlock a different adjective "prefix" or maybe a suffix like "of Unsurpassed Valor" etc. This would be scalable really high and end up giving players the ability to set their title like they name their Super Destroyer in the end.

Prestige would be good, the only difference is the amount of little skulls right underneath the main ranking plate or like, a color system with details for a skull.

A prestige system for the leveling system would be the simple answer. What they do in regards to rewards for prestige, could be a whole other discussion I guess.

I think they should have implemented some buffs behind the leveling progress, say every 50 levels you access passive buffs, reload speed, recoil control, critical hit damage, base infiltration, stealth/sneaking past patrols, not too the extent that the armours do but more along the line of your "experience" gained as a long service helldiver

A shooting range or sandbox would 100% be a source of fantastic additional content for the community, and would give the game even more longevity. Imagine the 'scrimmages'...

Being 144 myself, I feel like 150 is a representation of the most committed players to the game. A prestige reward sounds great but what would they do? If armor customization comes in, they could offer something unique such as an armor design, colors, or maybe go even further and offer in-ship decoration customization like banners, mission table appearances, etc. At the least it would be great to see a "150" cape which could be Super Earth's highest honor.

I would want a special cape or special emote once you hit 200 or even 150 that displays a Helldiver skull. So you can openly show how many times you’ve hit level cap.

I think some players don't have as much time as others... For us, it's taken a long time to get to lvl 75. Many have maxed out, but over a year it takes that long for many. I guess for 'play every day' people, it's fast. Perhaps prestige is the way to go plus MEDALS! MASSIVE MEDALS EXAGGERATED:)

100% we need a prestige system, I’ve been at 150 for a couple months, been playing to complete the warbond, donate to the DSS, and get SC, but once that’s done l, I’m done until something new comes out. I’d gladly start from the bottom again

Keep the player levels uncapped, raise it incrementially as the playerbase rises in level so the devs are not overworked on it, and give out free armor / weapons at certain levels for milestone celebrations; or at the very least make those milestones achievements. Resetting the player levels would completely piss off so many people. No one wants the big numbers they worked for removed.

If they don't want to raise the cap on levels, maybe they should offer rare armor sets or exclusive warbonds and higher rank titles. That could definitely be something to grind for.

Honestly I wish something like the Halo 3 levels/ranks would be added in. There's nothing crazier back in the day than seeing someone with 5 star general, recon armor, kitted out with sick ass earnable cosmetics for each tier, and a basic stat breakdown for that player (also a fileshare type system where funny clips and/or photos that each player could personalize to themselves) would be sick. I miss grindy earnable cosmetics that reflects someone's skill, time grinding in game, etc. being a standard so players could show off their achievements while also looking badass at the same time. The Melevalon Creek cape was a nice step in that direction and I still rep it to this day

1. I think the idea with an rank reset, like in Titanfall 2, is really great. 2. Time limited mission or events are nice, but I would prefer if everybody who encounters there get an reward for it. I think campaign medals to earn for your chest or your ship would be nice. So they would be only cosmetic and shows only that u were involved in a certain campaign. I think especially the loyal player would love it. Otherwise I am no fan of capes related to campaigns. Because I would always choose the best looking one. 3. I think we need some good stuff vor the helmets. Like night vision and so on.

Weapon upgrades in the future, my idea was for the knife, where you hit the floor it shock enemies but lower knife carried due to it being heavier

I think you should have a perk for being higher level. Maybe a little better equipment than the standard equipment. Like level 50 gets a 5% boost for higher quality, level 100 an 8% boost and level 150 a 10% boost

With the leveling system best thing to probably do is implement some sort of Prestige system, like i.e. Call of Duty has.. Once people reach max level they can reset back to zero (keeping all their unlocks) and receive some reward like a special armor, helmet and/or cape for it, so they have something to show off their dedication to the game..

My only gripe with this game is the premium content. You can unlock it just by playing the game and searching around. Or you can pay for it and basically skip all that content that the creators put there for you. You're paying to get to the finish line faster and missing all the cool stuff along the way. So many funny / epic moments just from doing a bit of farming and opening up all the 2-man doors. They need a radio call out for a bunker when you spot it like for the enemies. That makes communication easier for divers who speak different languages to work together.

I feel like even more ship upgrades would make the new player experience a bit crap, theyd still be on their tier 3 upgrades heading passsed lvl 25 and theyll see more stuff get released that theyre miles away fron putting them off... Much better to have a different set of upgrades or items that require new resources so that everyone can start getting it at the same time.

Would def like some sort of prestige reset. I'll be hotting 150 today. Got everything except a couple of armour sets. I just play for super credits now when diving.

For the past couple days they have been altering the files in the game. On of them is the quasar cannon, so i hope its a buff like it does the same damage the spear / recoilless riffle does and not a nerf

I've noticed a improvement in performance and hit registration across the board and loadouts need to be a bit calculated which is awesome!! GG to AH! It would be really cool to get weapon/armor customization so we can have matching squads with personalized divers 🤔🤷 There are definitely some areas the game still needs polishing like bouncy gems, hit boxes being weird, sliding divers 😂
