I am very similar with Christmas- when I worked as a therapist (PT) I would decorate the entire therapy gym- and create stockings for everyone, etc etc. It’s always been something I’ve loved. I work from home now and it’s so much harder to feel into the holiday spirit. However- I am moving back ‘home’ to upstate NY soon and will be amongst friends and more family- so while I’ll still work from home, I’ll be able to share the holidays with people I love. And I am excited to be able to decorate my new apartment for the holidays. I love your channel! I hope you’re having a beautiful spring over there!!

Applying wood conditioner before staining makes a huge difference! The stain has a more even tone, is easier and faster to apply, and doesn’t soak up into the wood as much, so you use less of it.

I always want to create a Xmas village like how my mother-in-law does it every Xmas. But I have two furry cats who love jumping on counter tops 😢 so for now, I am admiring yours and my mother-in-law when we’ll visit for Xmas!!!

Such a beautiful video! Thank you for sharing your home with us. Little safety disclaimer: please don’t wear gloves when working with a circular saw! I know working with wood can do a number on your hands, but the fabric can get caught in the saw and pull your hand into the blade. I’ve been in several wood workshops and it’s one of the first thing we’re taught. Be safe :) and happy holidays! 🎉
