Hi William, things are really looking good and I made a trip to my local Lowe's and picked up a stack of the plastic pots for the cattleya ...I love ❤️ them and thanks for sharing the tip! And the seedling babies are doing beautifully.....I spread them out in 3 in. Pots with a special media mix ...and they have some more room to get bigger...Dowiana is doing awesome 👌.

Rebecca Northen is Gorgeous! Two years in a row my RN has pooped out on me. This year she grew several new growths but no spikes and NO roots! Maybe next year if I don't kill her first! Happy Thanksgiving to you too! xxo

that's interesting that they moved Dendrochilum to Coelogyne. I looked it up and Kew does list it as having been moved in 2021. These changes are based on genomic data and this is where I disagree with classification based solely on genomic data. The Linnaean system of classification is meant to take other factors into account and moving them only on genetics is a disservice to growers. We have orchid clades for a reason, there is no excuse for taking Dendrochilum and moving it to Coelogyne, they are very different plants.
