Great videos! I learned a lot. What I wanted to ask, for example on this video on 0:35 you will see one fish swimming in circle. I have the same couple of friies doing the same thing and I am afraid something is wrong with them. Do you have any idea why they are doing that? Basically it swimming again the surface, and swimming i cicles.

My fish laid eggs Saturday April 18, still this morning April 28 at 1:30 am they haven’t hatched? How long does hatching takes after lights go all out in the tank? My tanks goes dark at 11pm daily.

typically 30 minutes to an hour. You want to give them total darkness during that waiting time.

I usually do for an hour. But after complete darkness I wait about 30 minutes before turning on the light for the trap or just wait until next day if you used the tile method

If you have 10 day old Clownfish fry, can you safely add a new batch of fry without issues?

Hdwrguy it’s best you don’t. For one, 10 day old clowns are on a different diet. Fry need dark water as well as Rotifers. Older clowns should be on TDO and off rots. If you put in a tank it might be hard for them to find food as well as high ammonia

Hello very nice frys. i need help from u Luis, how you get Nitrat free phytoplankton? must be 0 nitrat for baby clownfish larvel? Dt`s phytoplankton is 0 nitrate i know it, but i can´t buy everytime it i need to breed phyto in home for clownfish larvel pls help me

Cihan kocak my nitrate ranges when I used to grow phytoplankton. I didn't like that it was always changing which is why I started using RG Complete

Luis, thank you in advance, I've noticed that when i have a new clutch of about 200+ the number slowly goes down as the days progress and there are only about 25-50 on hatch day. any experience on that or advice on keeping the whole clutch healthy before hatch day

Scott Heckman what foods are you feeding? I feed about 2-3 times. I feed anything from TDO Pellets, to LRS Fertility Frenzy, to Live Brine and Mysis Shrimp. Variety of foods help produce healthy eggs.

Luis I feed pe mysis , new life spectrum pellets and new life spectum flakes i do have the tdo foods but i thought that was just for the babies , i can try spot feeding them the tdo

jhopiv it’s the same for the first few months of life. 16 hours light and 8 hour dark. As they get older you can adjust to 12/12 to help with algae

jhopiv some people do but I don’t. I like to think during the 8 hours they sleep

Hola de nuevo!! voy en mi dia 11, estoy tratando de seguir todos tus consejos!! pues te cuento: los mini nemo estan vivos!! pero ayer tuve que reiniciar mis rotiferos; nose porque muieron; el anmonia esta bien y el agua estaba verde; simplente ya no habia nada flotando; nose que paso!!! por otro lado; los bebes empiezana tener un color anaranjado y se les nota un poco el aro blanco; PERO!! estan como reposando en el fondo!! que me recomiendas; sobre los rotiferos y los peces!!?
