Marcus, a young man with a disability, is bullied and killed after a prank goes wrong. In the afterlife, he meets a group of ghostly clowns who help him exact revenge on those who have wronged him. I managed to sit through this. Goodness, this is one stinker of a movie. First - I want to preface this with the fact that it's admirable that the producers saw their idea to the end and released it. That's farther than plenty of people end up with these. Second - the premise is, on paper, decent enough. It's also really sad, when you think about it. The bullying aspects were quite depressing to see, and it did a good job establishing a group of unlikeable antagonists. However, that's where the good things end for this movie. The acting is unbelievably bad! Like, I've seen bad actors, but oftentimes the delivery of the lines is passable. These people, however? I didn't hear a shred of decency in the performances, and when they tried to add emotion, it ended up being complete cringe and fell flat. Also, those transitions are horrendous. It could be mistaken for a Windows Movie Maker preset. Had they actually incorporated a proper "realm" which resembled a circus, perhaps, and cleverly transitioned maybe one scene with a giant curtain? Then we'd be talking, but it's obvious that their budget was far from big so this wasn't gonna happen. Good idea, horrible execution. Kudos to the people involved with it, though. It's great that you finished it, which tells me this was a work of passion.
