Thanks for all the tips in both the video and some of your comments to others!Managed to 3-star this with R5 CLS + 3PO, R4 Chewie, and G12 Chewpio and Han. Took some adjusting of mods and getting the right RNG, but it’s doable. I had to take health mods off CLS to make sure he had less H+P than Chewpio so he is granted Guard.

My team all have relic 7, and the mods they have are very good. But it still took me some time to complete it. I lost so many times on phase 4, but eventually the RNG came in to play, and I completed it. And now I can sim this awful event. So you just have to keep trying, and now finally after so many years. I can sim challange tier 3!

Ty! 3*'d on my first try in a while--the key for me was stunning vader at the beginning and landing a stun on thrawn (or pull back TM) before he can do his funny stuff

I definitely feel RNG is a huge component. My relics are similar to yours, slightly higher on CLS and C3PO, my mods are the same but faster, and my turn order is the same. However I’ve tried 5 times right now and t8 just never goes the way shown in the video. It takes long enough that I don’t have the patience to keep going. Too much RNG.

RNG always plays part in this, need to try and time end of wave 7 in a way that you go into wave 8 with as much TM as you can, luckily we can sim this now :)

you dont need to upgrade so much chewpio if you dont have the gear,they key is to have very strong cls.

Although Chewpio does not need to be high relic for Tier 3 but it will be useful for TB. With R5 Chewpio, you can clear easily on Phase 1, 2 and 3 CMs.

Thank you for this video. Chewpio is great. But RNG is also playing a big role. Once I hit Vader first then next Thrawn immediatly passed over to Vader and the TM was on his side. In T1 Chewpio hit with his AoE and all opponents were gone like in your video now. But up to now this never happend to me again in T3. So I have alread 5 tries behind me. No success in round 8. Somehow I get the feeling you are blessed with good RNG. But nice to see it can work.

Did you use the special? Most of my guild mates who had this team (including me) was able to clear without much effort. I did not use any special all the way with just one try. My Threepio speed is 280 with CD 222%

@@danlovesayu I never used the special and I am already at the 10th try. My Threepio had once 340 speed lot of defense and health, now I tried 245 speed with 135 tenacity, he also had 222% CD with 270 speed. No, it is just not my day.The others are all around 260 to 280 speed except 3CPO with 255.

@@Bitdynasty Yes, you are! And not only here. In Geonosis P1 down you go in with JTR. You throw with R2D2 the flames and the Spy gets exposed. Then my eyes got wide - you throw the flames again and of course expose went away. I thought you are done now. But no. You use BB8 illuminate and the Spy gets again exposed. :-) I went in now 2 times and every time Spy did not get exposed and killed once R2D2 and once BB8. My BB8 had 345 speed and Spy comes out before illuminate.

Can confirm, did this a few hours ago, first time I had Chewpio, I destroyed it.I even lost Han 7th wave and still easy mode on.My Cls and C3po are r3,R6 Han+Chewie and r5 Chewpio.

Wow, everything went fine until that 8th wave, stunned DV and then Palpatine aoe went next, stunned both chewies and I didn't get another move. Still, first time getting there!

Seems to not work anymore... I stun Vader first successfully and he loses TM and he is in the yellow. But then the Royal Guards immediately taunt. Chewpio was next and his dispel was on cooldown but I don't think it would have mattered because I didn't get a turn after that. My Squad is all R7. Edit seems to be due to this unique from Royal Guard "At the end of each turn, if another ally took damage that turn, all Empire allies Royal Guard gains 15% Turn Meter and recover 6% Health. In addition, Royal Guard Taunts for 1 turn whenever another ally falls below 50% Health." Therefore, I can't hit Vader so hard that he gets in the yellow... not sure how I avoid that. Edit: On the 20th try, guess I got good RNG and I got it. Also saved Chewpio's dispell for the Royal Guard Taunts. Allowed me to hit EP next and remove TM. If EP is ever allowed to take a turn it is all over from all the debuffs and TM they gain from his leadership.

I wonder how well Phoenix would do on this, 80% counter chance with the event ability, zeb giving 40% more protection, chopper giving out healing, could potentially make this super easy, only problem would be wasting the gear for Phoenix just for one event (though I haven't seen anybody using Phoenix for secrets and shadows either)

@@Bitdynasty Mods are the important thing. If you still havnt completed it, look through your mods. And make sure they all have good mods. Mine have atleast 100 extra speed, and alot of the time over 110.
