Nice job! Do you have a piece of tape on your sewing machine foot?

Thanks. I used some heat shrink tubing as it offered better grip as opposed to using tape.

What size thread and needle did you use?
@VP4TD2 жыл бұрын
I used the factory shipped needles for this project and bonded nylon thread Tkt 30 (not sure what the equivalent is in your area).

Where can I get a diy sewing guide?

Thanks for the question. I will post a quick Do It Yourself (DIY) build using everyday household items.

Won't that be hard to buckle without holes?
@VP4TD2 жыл бұрын
I was making the strap for a friend and as it was custom fit he wanted just a couple of holes max - It gives it a cleaner look.

Hi, I have a same machine. How does the thread guide(covered with leather per this video) work without lifting up the bobbin and bobbin case? Are they metal vs metal? Then, a thread will be jammed as the bobbin will be pushed up to the plate by the thread guide which is a magnet?

Excellent question. I used very weak magnets (like the ones for the fridge) and placed it a good distance so as not to interfere with the bobbin mechanism. I compared it with magnetized edge guides sold at amazon, etc and these would lift the bobbin out of place.
