Will the newer charger also come back on and power automatically when battery gets too low? Meaning your golf cart is not used for a few months and it’s left plugged in. So the charger will cut off when it reached maximum charge, but then the batteries start to drain over time - so will the charger automatically turn back on when it senses the voltage in the batteries is getting too low - do the batteries don’t completely die and require a manual jump start ?

Thanks PG for the question. So in the carts with out a on board computer they only see voltage. The charger is stupid and only looks at volts. It looks at it and charges when needed. So lets call it a floating charge. They never go dead. The charger comes on when below I guess 12v

With out being there it is hard to say. However check all the batteries by them self.. If one goes bad in the circuit the whole cart goes down.

My problem is that my club car charger takes 10+ hours charging before it stops charging. Have you experience that before?

I don't know.. After a day out they charge over night for about 12 hours or more. That is a normal charging window of time.
