So here I am again, nearly 2 years later having discovered, and a little over a year since I left my last comment... At the time of writing, I didn't really feel distracted by any person in particular. Most of my distractions were internal/mental. Didn't change my perspective of the song, but now, for once in my life, I'm in a happy, healthy relationship with someone who, for the first time in my life, I can also picture a happy future with... yet I feel like I just don't have the time to really, REALLY focus on becoming my best self, without causing a lot of stress on someone who I've come to cherish so dearly. I guess it feels weird calling her a distraction, because that seems harsh, y'know... I guess you guys would understand what I'm trying to say, here... Maybe it's a matter of balancing time better... Right now, I don't quite know what the best solution is, but I guess it starts with communication, right? I'm confused, hurt, and dizzy, the more I think about all this... but this song does it once again, putting a difficult concept into a bittersweet, yet lush, sonic vibration. M1LDL1FE, thank you so much for this song-- the expression and fruit of your labors from countless hours of thinking about your own struggles dealing with life's Distractions. This song holds (and will continue to hold) a very special place in my heart till the day I die. P.S., come to America, because it's gonna be years before I visit SE Asia.
