I shit you not....one time. Buddy had a decent bite. Came unbuttoned....reeled in his hook minus the 8" worm. About ten minutes later we see abot a three pound bass just sort of soaring at the surface. I'll be damned if his won wasn't just hanging out if his mouth. We went right up along side it gently in the Jon boat...he grabbed his worm, and the bass swam off. Lol.
