They make better drummachines than that. TR-8S is much better.

Love your vids and had a chuckle as you seem to have fallen bigtime for the Leipzig. I like how you even muted the RD9 to just to hear that at the start. :)

I get the urge to be able to recreate the classic sounds, it's where people wanted to be for so long. But in 2021? Dunno... really dunno.

I get that. People paying over 3k for an original just seems insane considering how limited it is. But for £300 its something you can pick up... play for a bit and sell on if it doesn't suit.

@@StarskyCarr I know what you mean, I've been eyeing it now since it came out. Even if it's not something that's going to get used consistently it looks like a weapon for the right situation. Horses for courses.

I don't care that I waited since 1983 to get one. I want that sound for my self and don't give a shit how many thousands of mega techno hits were made with it. I'm so stoked to have gotten mine last night after waiting 6 months on back order. LET THE BEATS BEGIN!!

I got a TR8S, and just got my TD-9 last night . I'll let you know what I think after a few days and some testing. I've watched a lot of vids about the comparison , and from hearing it over the internet, I think there is a difference. As a long time club playing musician in a punk band, one thing I've learned is, Analog sounds like analog, and digital sounds like digital no matter what is done to it. I like both FYI. but I wanted an analog drum machine . now I got it!
@synthetic24

@@InFamousProductions And the TR-8S sounds better. I prefer digital machines because they do more and sounds (ACB) like the original.

Starsky, your the man. I just got mine last night, and I had a few beers and I couldn't figure out any of it hahaha. so now I can get to making the same beats that everyone has been making for almost 40 years and LOVING IT! That's why I wanted this , as I could never afford one until now. Thanks Behringer , they are godsends for making all these machines available. I have the TR-8S for a while, and I love that machine, but I still wanted a (sounds close enough) really analog 909 style machine and sound. Thanks for the killer vid like usual.
