I still don't get the rules of the game "president" ...all I get is that first one to lose all cards win, if a player puts down 2/3/4 of the same card the next player must do the same as well... Joker counts as any card... And number 8 is basically a free turn~ I don't get it if it's only a single card...~

From what I'm seeing, it's very similar or might be the same well known card game from where I'm from (Philippines). I don't play it as much but I'll try my best to explain it. The goal of the game is to play all of your cards, with the one left with cards as the loser. You take turns playing cards but there is a specific order in which you can play them, which is from 3 -> 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, and then 2, with the suit order being Clubs, Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, if I recall. This means that the one with the 3 of Clubs starts first. You can also do combos like pairs, straights and full houses to play your cards quicker, with your opponents needing to play the same combos as you did to continue. Hope this helped in some way lol
