What tribe are Americans? They even want to be called African Americans now. So you're telling me that your own tribe to you is less than America. 'That's why you guys flock to South Africa. You hate yourselves. I can find more cool things about your people and I'm a Zulu. How do we uplift our continent when we praise people that take from us.

This is a one sided, toxic dialog. There are African Americans who look down on Africans, and there are Africans who look down on African Americans. There are also Africans who love African Americans, and there are African Americans who love Africans. You see what you want to see. If you want to focus on the negative, you will see the negative.
@jewel6799

Negative people will focus on the negative. Positive people will focus on the positive. That is life. I saw an AA commentor replying to an African that he came from a failed society. 😅 Obviously most African Americans have not traveled to any of the African countries. 😊 I have.

You know it's a shame that people confuse where you are born with ethnicity. It's no longer possible to always be born in the same country your ancestors were. People prefix AA with African because the belief system is that blacks in America are originally African. Even the blacks that were in the Americas before slavery still came from Africa.

Maybe that is why Africa's commodities are still leaving the continent. You put Americans on a pedestal . How many countries has the USA army invaded? Hopefully you migrate to America because we;re trying to raise Africans that will love our continent and look up to Africans. How do we even discuss the macro economics of Africa when Africans are worshipping America. Do you know how much American companies are taking from Africa because these companies got a piece during colonisation. Even or leaders should be forced to get treatment in Africa. I hope you aren't a Zulu ngoba lokho kkodumaza kakhulu. Asizidingi inzcelebane ze-Melika esizweni sikaMthaniya

As a African American everytime I came across African’s I always felt like my presence bothered them. I would go out of my way to talk to them and I’m a introverted person I would go out of my way to speak to them because I thought we would have some type of special tribal connection with each other lol😂 .Honestly Most African Americans think that way which is why we end up hurt we realize that’s not the case.

Global white imperialism has done a number on all of us. My interactions with those of the African World Community has been positive. For me, I always take the position of wanting to learn. That has helped me gain a greater appreciation for what our people experienced on the African continent, Latin America and the Caribbean. This neo-tribalism must end. If you say that's your brother or sister, it cant just be rhetoric. We must demonstrate it daily. My goddaughter is a South African who can say "money" at two years old. She thinks the RBG flag gives her superpowers when she wears it. There's much to learn, much to gain and much to share.

The reason British and Australian actors (of all races) dominate Hollywood is because there’s no stigma in those countries of a man or boy taking drama classes. So you get tough guys like Idris Elba, Chris Hemsworth or Daniel Craig who learn acting and hone their craft from childhood. But in America, taking drama classes is considered feminine, so only feminine men take those classes (like Timothy Chalemet) and so you don’t have a lot of American alpha males in Hollywood.
