As a frenchman, i have to say: "Vous n'aurez pas nos pamplemousses, bande de petits sacripants.". In fact, it's funny to see how the language stereotypes always use very outdated expressions. Well, i guess it's the same when we caricature english people. "Top of the morning, guv'nor. Pip pip". But, seriously, that was one of the best episodes of the new Barshens. As Stuart said, Quang seems to be everywhere these days so i was already kind of familiar with him but i had no idea how nice, interesting and funny he is. Honestly, great episode.

Whenever I hear the name Nguyen, I always hear it pronounced "new yen", similar to nuyen from Shadowrun. Also, the feral chicken situation reminds me of what happened with the ring-necked parakeets back in olden times, and how they've basically become a part of the national wildlife. You can't really move in the London boroughs without hearing the KEETKEETKEETKEETKEETKEET of those little green rascals. They're surprisingly resilient too, since they've survived the British winter well enough, and have a relatively stable population despite being prey for our native owls and falcons.

Dude, I love Re-Volt. I still play it to this day thanks to the RVGL open-GL port and its modding community. I can't imagine it being on the Game Boy, but it would've been cool.

I did lots of research on the game, while I was working on the conversion. It was a very cool game. It was shaping up to be like Micro Machines with weapons. Maybe I will revisit the source code one day.
