I get that you guys don't know what you're doing or whatever, but had you simply gone on the Official Blizzard Overwatch KZbin channel, you'd have seen this playlist kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKLRfHVoZ9WCeZI that they put together of all the cinematics in release order which is absolutely the best way to watch these. There's a narrative and continuity and even though the story is cleverly out of sequence in some of those, you'll get why if you had taken the time to find the official list. Ya'll look young, were you like 5 when these started dropping in 2014 and 2015? Is that why you never saw them before? Anyway, for future reference, most major studios and developers have their game promotionals archived in playlists on their KZbin channels. So, just hit those off in the future so that you can at least see the joints how they originally dropped if you missed them or were too young or what not.

@@StudioGek yeah, it's fine. It's only a shame because Zero Hour is sort of the culmination of a few others (Honor and Glory plus several others you didn't watch). But it doesn't matter that much to be honest. If you plan to continue watching the rest, there are maybe 2 or 3 cinematics that reference each other, but only very slightly.

Fun fact, Rein's cinematic actually changes alot of player playstyle for him when it got released. Usually new players use him very aggressively, the animated short changed the way people play him in-game, using his shield more and protecting the team.

I second this. I also think that Mushoku Tensei is another great show that’s adventure with deep meanings and themes. Some people don’t like it, especially the beginning, but if you do watch it and get to the end you’ll realize how good it all it. But yes, definitely watch Frieren 🙏

You don't need to keep saying "we do not support blizzard they did bad things". Team 4 AKA overwatch devs had literally nothing to do with any of the controversies besides having a hero named after someone from the warcraft team who ended up in scandals (McCree) and they chose that name way back then because it sounded cowboy af, but now they renamed him to Cassidy. Literally every other controversy you've heard about is 99% from Warcraft teams and 1% diablo teams. Throwing out blanket condemnations and judgements for the entire company isn't fair at all

To put some things into context about Blizzard, as they can't say in the video, there was some sketchy behaviour amongst higher ups at the company. The type you would expect from "ScumbagCorp LLC" in an NC-17 movie. This included one guy that the cowboy character was named after (In OW2, he has been renamed to Cassidy - you can use your headcanon to be like he's using his name now), and every time he booked a hotel room, it had some stupid name like the "orgy palace" where these guys would go to full Weinstein. These douche-canoes were let go from the company (They were poster guys for the MeToo movement, tbh - I'm not talking bad flirting either...I'm talking daily visits to the company breastfeeding room for staff who had babies...which weren't allowed maternity leave fyi). The hit to sales and stocks resulted in people finally getting rid of them after turning a blind, but the damage was done. Seeing the potential of OW, World of Warcraft, and Call of Duty, Microsoft bought the company and is now in charge. Part of the shit show of OW2 is because the higher ups at ActiBlizzard became lazy as they were selling the game (which they thought would be quick, but monopoly laws got in the way for a long time, meaning they had to keep doing some minimal effort towards it while saying they had more content coming - really, thjey just wanted to change the loot box model due to gambling laws, to the now common battlepass model) and didn't want to spend more money, so OW2 pretty much released with 1.5 years of updates they withheld from OW (the last big update being the introduction of Echo in Jan 2020, before OW2 released in Oct 2022). So yeah...execs pretty much scuttled it while bleeding people dry until Microsoft finally took over and is now trying to fix it...ish.
