Clues from a James Fort cellar

The cellar feature located at the northeast corner of James Fort's 1608 addition appears to be associated with a building that may have been tied into the fort. If this hypothesis holds true then this building would likely have been built in 1608 along with the addition. Several hundred feet to the south of this current excavation there was a similar building incorporated into the fort expansion design at the southeast corner of the addition.If you are interested in donating to this non-profit research project please click the following link. donatenow.networkforgood.org/...

This is so interesting to see how the first colony families got along...thank you so much for the great work and then to being it to the public like this is really great! Can't wait for the next installment! I am glad there's a man out there helping to identify these little bits of bones, etc. Wow, to be educated that way is just too cool! Thanks again!
