The way I can differentiate brain word salad from symbolism is I wake up with a peculiar gut feeling.

Oh wow!! Really related to the black/white aspect--a few years before dx, we had started intentionally dressing only in black and white. It just felt so natural to do. We've been introducing color more now, but one of our theories is that it's almost a subconscious way of our brain showing that it wants these opposite poles to make connections in some way--like to meet, to understand each other, etc. In our system, light and dark are really prevalent (i.e., in our system we have different "levels" where alters live and there is a whole section without any natural light, vs the section where it basically looks like an eternal summer afternoon). It's also funny what you mentioned about bright neon blue--we have baby pink show up for us! It really does stump you lol. As writers we're always curious what these things must mean for our brain symbolically. Truly a never-ending road. Great video, thank you for posting!

Writers here too! The whole interplay between black and white/light and dark is one of the main themes of our vampire novel. 😅

Thanks for posting this. We have noticed in hindsight that we’ve often felt kinships with certain animals in our past and it turns out it’s because we have headmates who are tied to those animals.

Great video, and a great reminder! I know we experience things like this over and over. The hard part is recognizing/being curious in the moment or upon reflection!

Did the inner world disappear? Do you believe there is still hidden information?

It didn’t disappear, but what it is, is hard to explain. I’ve got a video coming on it soon!
