Himangshu, ficus needs lots of moisture . Rain water is best for it. Use Compost and npk as fertilizer. To provide moisture keep water spray 3 times a day if it is too hot or dry weather.

It is hard to belive that chinese banyan died for any inappropriate soil. Ranjana you can use any type of soil that has well drainage capacity. It is a hardy plant, even without any special care it survives well.

Sir, I have seen the progress of your Clump Style Bonsai and the following questions are submitting bellow arose in my mind. 1) What is Clump Style Bonsai 2) Which are the 1st, 2nd Branches and on wards. 3) How can I select the Branches to be kept as 1st, 2nd or third onwards when I do not know the front of the tree 4) Some branches grew up on the frontal side which are obstructing the Stem of the Plant 5) I request you to tell the Style of Bonsai which is going to shape and the specific rules to be followed for such Bonsai styling.
