Having played hearthstone since 2024, and having followed discard warlock as a favorite deck since its inception, it really seems like we are in late stage/stage 4 terminal Hearthstone

Hmm yes, the "titan but worse in absolutely every way possible" card Paying 1+5 mana for that is ridiculously bad, even in a meme deck

Would be surprised if you add the infinite discardable cards like the 2,2 beast that gains +2,+2 each time it’s discarded then gets added to back hand or the 3,5 Lifesteal taunt that adds 2 copies of itself after its discarded. I think there was even a bug where the copies of the taunt one would keep the temporary enchantment making it automatically discard itself. But I think it might’ve been patched at some point too though it would be interesting if you can get the “re-adding effect from discard” onto cards like “Adaptive Amalgam” and “Immortal Prelate” wich are cards that keep any enchantments then it could simulate the same glitch if it considers “Temporary” as an enchantment!

Adaptive Amalgam/Immortal Prelate won't work. Since keeping enchantments is a deathrattle effect. Meaning the minion needs to be in play and die for it to activate and save enchantments. But when you play a card it loses the Temporary enchantment. Also, Jeklik's interaction isn't a bug. It creates exact copies of itself, enchantments included. Hence why it works. As far as using it in this deck... It's not really condusive to what the deck is about, which is trying to blow up the opponent with Fist of Jaraxxus, Soul Barrage and buffed up Tiny Knights. Filling your hand with garbage minions doesn't really work with that (Especially with the crazy amount of draw the deck has) even if it is technically good for buffing Tiny Knight.

The reason that infinite 2/2 isnt in deck is because hed have to replace a good card in his deck for it. This aggro deck as u saw in the vid is draw heavy which normally is fine cause cards are leaving his hand and having one stay in hand is counter productive. Plus that card is effectively a discard to do nothing card whereas the rest are dealing damage drawing or summoning something. It would have to be discarded 3 times to even have the same stats as a mountain giant and he dosent really have ways to target it for discard outside the chance by landmarks or drawing clumsy.

@@quirda77could easily cut zephyrs. It's not gonna be active most of the time without being discarded from the main game plan. Which if you haven't hit after decking yourself you've already lost. Mark's meme decks are not often very optimized and include some silly cards

@TheMikester9 true but that just brings back the question of if a 2 mana 2/2 that eats handspace for a deck that is heavily draw based, would take the space of a good card you would want to draw, and need to be discarded multiple times inconsistency, AND has to be played prior to plot twist which is the whole point of the deck which would delay the combo is better than two mana 3/2 maybe might do something that removes itself if discarded. And Even if the answer was yes a mountain giant is still probably going to be a better big stat do nothing with no discard investment that could cost 1 or 2 even 0 frequently in a draw heavy deck

I’m hoping the next kind of discard interaction we get can even shuffle a copy into the deck instead of filling the hand, maybe it even shuffles a copy of another discarded card. Lastly I meant these absurd deck inclusions as an alternative to the 6 mana draw 3 since there’s already plenty of card draw and often at times you’d prefer to copy the 5 mana damage spell since mark was often stuck with it in hand. Sure there may be instances you want card draw but often at times it’s a bit too much. Who knows maybe they’ll make a “Twin Spell” like effect for spells that are discarded, cast when drawn or maybe cards that already have temporary to give urgency or use to more powerful effects on a single card

Something ain’t right with this interaction. I remember Valeera death knight hero card also produces temporary card, but it is not discarded at the end of the game turn.

Yeah, any of the recent temporary cards count as a discard for some reason.

Valeera the Hollow doesn't technically give a temporary card. Like, nowhere in the text does it use the keyword "Temporary" It's just that the card is functionally temporary since it has the same red sheen as temporary cards and is removed at the end of your turn. All cards that actually use the Temporary keyword state within the keyword that they are discarded at the end of turn.

Uhhh why is Hand of Guldan in this? It's always in the way when you're trying to use Expired Merchant on Soul Blast or Fist of Jaraxxas.

I’ve been abusing clumsy steward in death knight with frozen over but I haven’t quite made a deck good enough for it to really pop yet. It is funny though
