I came across the video and believe it or not I am 54. I have driven automatic all the way since I've got my license. Have driven in Sydney for many years. Used to clutch control only when it comes to forklifts (Port Botany)... yet this video is really helpful, thorough. Moved back to Europe few years ago and now have to learn manual for number of reasons. Thanks for sharing and God bless!

Best thing i found at the right time ! I passed my manual test in London and thought I was perfect until I moved same month into Nottingham. Nottingham is a city of very steep hills and I almost blame myself for getting a manual car, due to the super steep hills I never experience during my learnings in London. Even though my car is a 2020 model without a physical handbrake, I kept stalling at every hill stop junctions in Nottingham. This video has helped me to realise that I need to give more gas (about 2,000 rev like you said in this video) before moving off on a hill. Are you able to pleaseeeeeeeee make the same video using a more recent car without a physical hand brake? this will help us with a more newer cars

Which part of the video you're confused please? Brake to slow the car first and clutch down in the end to keep the engine running. If the speed is too low and the car is about to stop then clutch should go down to keep the engine running.
