Both Despicable Me and The Secret Life of Pets franchises should be at the very least PG-13 with more action, violence, possibly explicit language, and possibly sexual situations or innuendos (maybe the general audience will unfortunately not accept sexual behavior between talking animals, not that it’s really that necessary). Going forward, I want The Secret Life of Pets to be a Super-Pet franchise that heavily takes inspiration from Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Despicable Me to be a lot more serious, but also very witty at the same time (a Vector solo movie/series would be nice, maybe showing him that he survived being stuck on the moon by another villain group that rescued him from certain death).
