Reason behind the Jarrett/Hogan clip was that it was suppose to build up to TNA/NWA first PPV and the main event was going to be Hogan vs Jarrett 2 for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The problem was the head booker at the time was Vince Russo. Hulk Hogan stated multiple times he would never work with Vince Russo again after what happened at Bash at the Beach 2000. Ironically in 2010, Hulk Hogan worked in TNA while Vince Russo was there.
