I noticed Clutch is playing different setlists in every festival this year, i don't know if they always have done that, but nowadays feels like an oasis in the desert, most bands are playing exactly the same for months, what's not wrong but there's no surprise element. I watched Clutch for the first time in Brutal Assault this year, loved it! You guys have a new fan ❤️ Update 11.03.23: I saw them a second time December last year as they came to my town (Stuttgart), again a surprise! I had the privilege to listen Spacegrass live! Can't wait to see them again this Summer

Clutch always change their setlist every show. I've been listening to them for almost 30 years and have never seen the same set twice.
@7davesanchez2 жыл бұрын
Never the same set list. They usually have songs that they play as mainstays on a single tour, but it's never the same. I think I read somewhere that they rotate through each four band members writing a set before each show.

This was an awesome interview, way to go Sophie! The questions were refreshing, I laughed out loud at few of Neil's responses to them. I'm over here stressing raising my 6 year old and Neil is looking at it like a science experiment. 😆 I am sure he is going to ace this one! Clutch has never had a bad album or show and I appreciate how they aren't putting out the exact same album over and over again. By far the greatest band around.🔥

In 1995 I was 14 years old, and didn't care for music, generally speaking. My father loves bluegrass and my mother never listens to music. My cousin introduced me to Clutch and it was unlike anything I had heard. I was immediately gripped. At this point, I'm uncertain how many times I've seen Clutch perform. Just saw them again in Raleigh a few weeks ago. When Neil spoke about the long term fans, I felt that. I hope I get to continue going to their shows long into the future.

I've been to half a dusin Clutch concerts and they always plays hits like Mob Goes Wild and Spacegrass but it is never a dead theatre when they play other songs or even new songs they havent released yet. People who attend knows their portfolio and can jam along when they experiment with a somewhat obscrure track.

I like the interviewer, but those antiquated, cheesy gimmicks hanging off her head were distracting in a really obnoxious, flashy way.
