Missed opportunity to add storage either side of fireplace in living room. The study didn't look like storage for costumes. Where is everything? The desk area could also have incorporated built in storage. He had mess too, wasn't all hers. And hers was work related. Two people working from home need space to be apart.

A lot of their "stuff" seems to have disappeared, but the extension does make a much nicer kitchen. Since they both work from home, there seems to be space for one of them missing.

The only reason to move would have been to have a huge clean out before they re located.

Didn't your grandma do her washing in a lean-to? Depends on how big the lean-to is - looks as if it was fine

Can't cook in the old kitchen together,Why not? Our kitchen is fast smaller and yet my husband and I can cook together. Most people make the best of what they've got, not whinge and whine about it.

Kirsty and Phil do the "escape to the country" with even more smug. From invariably Londoners do the "white flight" from Khan's nightmare. A tiny one bedroom flat in the capital is the equivalent of a jackpot lottery win for the rest of the country, but never mind that. Kirsty and Phil will help the poor loves find their dream space. Smug x10.

They have lived together for 2 1/2 years. Obviously she had a lot of clutter and agree they both should have done a reduction before the move in together

It’s really hard moving into someone else’s space, especially when you’ve had to give up your own home. Her clutter is probably what she needed in order to feel that it was her home, too.
