For the ones who don't actually know. Yes the ones in the seats are the true talent I play viola myself. But he is the one that created the music. He started off with a sound in his head and describing the notes with only his voice and singing the notes to the orchestra and he went one by one to have the musicians replicate and create the music that we can hear. Of course he is repeating the beat over and over. That is the same thing a dj does. He creates bit by bit and repeats and repeats and repeats and makes adjustments as he sees fit to bring out what is playing in their head. I give much credit to the orchestra to be able to create what they did but you also have to give credit to Justin for the sound coming from his mind
@LaPoubelle4211 ай бұрын
It's not genius though this is like maybe intermediate level song writing \ composition. You could take any musician or singer and they could probably create something like this if they have a talented enough orchestra to direct.
@oscartejada948911 ай бұрын
@@LaPoubelle42 never said it was genius. I was just defending that you still have to give credit where credit is due. This sound came from his mind and was able to describe it to an orchestra to create it live. Many of us have beats playing in our heads but I'm sure many of us would fail to get our music out before forgetting what the beat was to begin with. So many people look at negative stuff and hating on Justin instead of just appreciating what he and the orchestra created
@MistressOP11 ай бұрын
I have no idea on Justin here. But MJ use to do whole songs with his mouth. Beat it is legit a full PTX setup and sounds good enough to cut a record. A sounds is hard a heck. A lot of people can play music at certain high technical levels. Very few people are talented with melody and understanding. It's part of the reason when jazz, blues was in they treat it like jungle music and didn't take it seriously. even though its so damn mathematically complex.
@LaPoubelle4211 ай бұрын
@@oscartejada9489 ah, lots of other comments here saying he is a genius. I would be impressed if one of my other regular musician friends did this, but I just expect more from someone at Justin's level of experience and fame. This is just basic composition that doesn't deserve this level of attention imo. It's fine if you like this music, it's just not that impressive musically. I'm not hating on Justin, I think he makes good music, but watching this specific video was kinda cringe for me.
@oscartejada948911 ай бұрын
@@LaPoubelle42m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/iavceWaGp6eDe68 Here is a longer clip. Like I said I'm not saying it's genius I'm just saying give credit where credit is due. You tell me the difference in what he did here with an orchestra and what a dj does on a computer...? He creates something from nothing with the tools at hand. Makes adjustments. Repeats it endlessly until they are satisfied with the end product. That clip is just a snippet of the whole sit in. The video I linked is only a snippet of the sit in. And to take into account this was the first time he ever tried this. Yes other musicians do this without a second thought. J Cole, Kanye, Ed Sheeran and so on. This was the first time he attempted it with a live orchestra and it came out pretty good. That is all I was saying because everyone just wants to be negative of judging a 30 second clip that doesn't even begin to show what they actually did to get to that point
