The difference is nothing about 2017 Roman was compelling. He had no aura. They were pushing somebody nobody was compelled to. With Cody, the entire story of him leaving and rebranding himself to then come back and finally get to shine is literally one of the most compelling story’s in wrestling and it wasn’t even written.
