@ScuffedF10 ай бұрын
Everything you said is spot on but in the end, it is all futile for Tony. Collison has become just another Rampage and the WBD will not be offering Tony any more money, nor will they get a streaming deal any time soon. Why do you think he just dumped 10 wrestlers from the overcrowded roster, going back on his words of yesteryear? I honestly believe WBD has given him an offer and has said take it or leave it. My prediction is Tony will burn through his inheritance to keep this place alive and once that's done, AEW is dead. You can quote me on that.

The entitlement that jungle boy feels like he has is very telling. Probably based completely on who his friends are. Dude feels untouchable. I heard Bubba Ray on busted open say the dude acting like a little punk with him as well and that's a big-time veteran of the business. I like to think I didn't used to root against aew per se but now I do because all it amounts to is being a place where extremely mediocre wrestlers are able to go and make a shitload of money to work the easiest schedule in pro wrestling. Keep in mind that Jack Perry is an entitled prick raised from a rich Hollywood family. Keep in mind that Perry is friends with the Jackson brothers that are or were Executive Vice Presidents of AEW. Keep in mind that Perry is not a draw or a ratings booster for the company. Keep in mind that Perry got the biggest star in the history of AEW fired. Keep in mind that Perry and Khan haven’t talked about the incident because they know they f’ed up and don’t want to take accountability.

@Physictsdrumtoo10 ай бұрын
Because he tends to be correct more than wrong about these things. That’s why people are prone to take Punk side. AEW response with Edge promo cemented my opinion on this and tend to agree with Punk. There’s verified accounts that stated Perry was going off on other people that day about the spot. Perry went out on a big event and said “cry me a river”. That adds credence to Punk claim right there. And then we know Joe broke up Punk “hugging” Jack on the neck. So yeah. Punk side is adding the pieces.

This thought struck me while listening to this. I believe Jungle Boy was heavily influenced by the Japanese, in that they would fully endorse the level of stupidity Jack Perry wanted to perpetrate. And AEW is like the co-deoendent little brother of New Japan Pro Wrestling. What they don't realize is that in the United States most sane wrestling fans don't reward this level of career shortening theatrics. Most American wrestling fans want to see their favorite wrestlers have long careers, especially the well loved wrestlers. And being stiff and doi g stupid stunts all the time is going to ruin your career.
