Awesome match from the early days of ROH . This was the feud that put them on the map between Punk and Raven that created some of the most violent and hardcore matches in ROH history culminating in a Steel Cage Match . Great Stuff .

Raven was of the best for in ring psychology and cutting great promos as he proved in ECW .Unfortunately he was under utilized in WCW and Pigeon holed in WWF with being Hardcore Champion . This ROH match among his work there and TNA proved that he could still be a player in Wrestling which was further proved when he won the NWA World Title 2 years later .1 of the best in the business .

Raven's best match ever? Just think, 2-3 months earlier he was going nowhere in WWE. The announcers were dead on saying Raven hadn't looked this good since '96-'97.

So this was a pretty good match. Raven gave everything and put in an amazing show. CM Punk was... okay? I feel like he was really not giving Raven an awful lot. It would have felt better if he'd actually sell a bit. God damn it, Punk.

It's Ring of Honor. This was the "Expect the Unexpected"-show in early 2003 just after ROH's first Anniversary and the first match in the long-running feud between Punk and Raven. I think this was the last show they had in this small venue where they still had the house lights on.

Early years of ROH were some of the best wrestling ever . They just had their Final Battle ppv a few weeks ago and continue to evolve and get better .Some of the best wrestling you will ever see aside from New Japan .The Raven /CM Punk feud put them on the map .
