Honestly, if Vince really wanted to end the streak back in 2013/2014, it should have just been Punk at 29, it just should have One, that would make it 20-1 which is just aesthetically nicer, Two, Lesnar beating it was a snap ‘okay we’re doing it this year and Lesnar’s already lined up’ so it’s not like it was storyline majorly and Three, could you imagine Punk leaving after that? Like, WM main event is nothing compared to the singular accomplishment of the Undertaker’s streak Also the match was fucking awesome and better than either of the lesnar matches so there’s that

I mean if you wanted to keep it aesthetically pleasing they should have just made Lesnar break the streak at wm29 instead of 30. Have the main event be a triple threat, that way punk would not leave and you would still technically would have Rock and Cena.

Its so unfair how much he gets buried especially by part timers who wont be back much like lesnar and rock. Lesnar is especially bad bc he takes wins he never needed like the takers streak. Cm punk should have done way more and id rather him end the streak aa it would have "should." Elevate him although they like burying punk so much they probably would have ruined takers streak too like if anyone was to carry the company it should have been punk with the star power he had but no they just dug their own grave
