Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) is a professional course that focuses on equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge required to handle various aspects of cost analysis, financial management, and decision-making within organizations. It is designed to train professionals to become adept at managing costs, optimizing resources, and contributing to the overall financial health of a business. "CMA" stands for "Cost and Management Accounting." The CMA course consists of three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. The duration of the course is three years.
Let's take a look at the CMA levels and eligibility:
Foundation Level: Students who have completed their tenth and twelfth grades in any group are eligible to join the Foundation Level. This level consists of four papers:
Fundamentals of Economics And Management
Fundamentals of Accounting
Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics
Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics
Upon clearing the Foundation Level, you can proceed to the Intermediate Level.
Intermediate Level:
Intermediate Level in the CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) course has eligibility requirements that include having completed a bachelor's degree (like B.Tech) with any group. This means that candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline, including B.Tech, are eligible to register for the CMA Intermediate Level.
This level is divided into two groups.
Group One subjects include:

Laws and Ethics
Direct Taxation
Cost Accounting
Group Two:
Operations Management & Strategic Management
Cost & Management Accounting and Financial Management
Indirect Taxation
Company Accounts & Audit
After completing the Intermediate Level and a ten-month articleship, candidates become eligible for the CMA Final
CMA Final Level:
The Final Level is also divided into two groups:
Group One:
Corporate Laws & Compliance
Strategic Financial Management
Strategic Cost Management - Decision Making
Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation
Group Two:
Corporate Financial Reporting
Indirect Tax Laws and Practice
Cost and Management Audit
