My older sister used to play this years ago. I always made fun of her music just to tease her, but one day I mustered up the courage to ask her what she was listening to. So glad I did. I'm still here four years later :) I love every part of this track and I listen to it regularly when reading or studying. I listened to this when all I wanted was to disappear, and shut the world out. Your music helped me throughout my whole teenage life. You should also look up behavioral science. Get a book like: www.amazon.com/Applied-Behavior-Analysis-COOPER/dp/129202321X/ref=sr_1_3_twi_pap_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1478617049&sr=8-3&keywords=applied+behavioral+science Get the paperback one if you need to save money. Get the hardback if you're serious about conquering the anxiety and using it as a constant reference book that will handle wear and tear. It's used in master's and phd programs. The material isn't complicated. You can use the techniques in there to permanently conquer anxiety. You MUST be patient with yourself and use the knowledge in the book to view your situation in a different light which will help you take control of life. I used to have social anxiety so bad I couldn't even talk to girls with out nervousness and avoiding eye contact. I worked through that over a couple of years. I also found out through the superficial dating site hotornot that over 3600 women voted my picture a 9.6/10. I was born with good looks but never recognized it because of anxiety. Knowing that plus the Behav. science helped me beat anxiety and never look back. Not every one is born with natural good looks but you can improve that simply by working out and exercising, which alone will make you healthier mentally and physically and boost self-confidence. Pair some really peaceful music like this in with your future conditioning programs that you can learn to setup for yourself and you have the dynamics to live a happy anxiety free life, even with out pharmaceuticals. Don't underestimate the book I recommend above. The techniques in it are used by the ruling class to subjugate the rest of us to peonage. Who knows you could be a hero in the making. Just keep the mind open and goals and desires will remain possibilities. A closed mind shuts itself off from possibilities and skews possibilities in a negative manner.

Yes! Sublime and melancholy! I don't know what it is that draws me to such stimuli, especially in the area of music. I've been picking up on Astrology and Tarot, indirectly coming to them from a hard science background with behavioral science, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, and physics/electricity- and it seems that some people have an innate attraction to certain types of energies based on the time of year one is born and the position of planets. I'm blown away by the level of detail the deeper systems , such as tarot, accurately nail down. Those who enjoy the melancholy, I believe, have a more profound depth of emotions that just resonate with this style of music. Do you have any other similar artists/songs to this style that you can recommend? I'm all ears even though this collection will probably be a go to until the end of my time on this material plane.

+Ef You See Kay jewtube Despite myself being more interested in programming, I am deeply interested in stars, space, the galaxies, and astronomy in general. This mix brings it to a whole different level. As I suffer from an at least mild level of depression this chills me out alot. :D

Jez I started out with programming when I was about 14. It stills serves me well but it's mostly for scripting in linux. Have a look into "operant conditioning". You can use it to program your mental states and work away from depression since depression really has no productive value (one of the attitudes you can work on conditioning into yourself). Music does do wonders. Always loved Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb too.
