I'm a 55 year old man taking care of my 80 year old mother who raised me on country music. For some reason this song has been on my mind lately and to stumble upon this masterpiece was Heaven sent. It brought tears to me my eyes thinking about my Dad and younger sister who have gone to be with the Lord.

If Denver never had gotten on that plane in '97, he just might have lived long enough to see the impact his music has made on the Country & Folk Music community, and everyone in general. However, Denver is gone, and we must recognize that as a truth, which we will deal with for the rest of our lives. Don't take this comment as a sad note, but as one of celebration. Though, Denver suffered a tragic fate, without him, people would have never been brought together using his music. We thank you, John Denver. I hope you made it to (almost) heaven: West Virginia.

An Indian here. No other music moves me as much as country does. I feel an instant connection. From John Denver, George strait all the way to Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. I love and listen to them all. Nothing else has the soul, simplicity, natural and beautiful picturization that most of the country songs have. You listen to some and it feels like you have left the concrete jungles of the urban world and took a stroll down the river in a lovely little remote village far away from it all. Thank you America country music fraternity for this wonderful gift to the world ❤️. We are indebted forever. At 0:51 they gave Randy Travis an appearance, how touching! He was one of the greats during the “golden age” of country in the 80s and 90s, until a hospital stay and a stroke in the 2010s or so left him so badly hurt he had to relearn to walk and left him with aphasia, so it’s difficult for him to speak full sentences. He’s relearning how to play guitar, and he goes to country concerts with his wife so he can at least hear the music he loved to once play, and he’s using his fame to raise money and awareness for stroke research. I’m very proud that they showed him this gesture of respect by including him ❤️

I remember they made this Awesome, Wonderful, Amazing Beautiful version of these songs with all the different Artists singing in a round. ❤❤❤❤❤ They sang this song in a round for a commercial to preview the upcoming CMA Awards. They all sang Amazing together! I'm sure this was a Big project getting all the different singers together at different times and then the producer splicing all these different clips together. If this Video didn't win an Award, then it should have in my opinion, won Video of the Year!❤❤❤❤❤ Has anyone else just heard this song for the first time in a long while, and started remembering a special memory too as you heard this song?

I was really happy that they found a way to include him. He's still recovering from a stroke, so singing wasn't an option, but he really was a turning point for Country music. I've always felt like modern country was founded by him - the more mainstream country that reached out to a greater audience, that centered more on relationships and less on the 'dog died, truck broke, wife left, cheatin' song' stereotype.

I can't stop replaying this. It makes me glad that they all came together, I see this as real country. Most songs I ever hear on the radio is about trucks, drinking, or just some woman. I love this do damn much.

Seriously can a country video get any better. Paying homage to 2 greats songs of country music and showing the top performers of their style and generation. Only regret was I didn't see Loretta Lynn in this video. Not sure why. But still this will be a favorite video for me for a long while. Hats off for all those involved and thank you for this uploaded video.

Kim Clayton 3 songs sir, though I'm sure it's just a typo. The first being 'Take me home, country roads.' by John Denver. The second is Willie Nelsons 'On the road again,' while the finale is Dolly Partons 'I will always love you.' Dolly wrote it, Whitney made it known worldwide. just for those who didn't know, cheers to all of us country fans.

I love how they manage to merge different singers in one song. The harmonies are perfect plus those legendary country artists... ❤️❤️❤️... October 5,2022.

When I watched "the making of" I had no idea the director Joseph Kahn was the one who came up with doing a mash up instead of a single song. What surprised me more was that Kahn, born in South Korea, lived in Italy and then basically grew up outside of Houston and is a country fan. He is known mostly for hip hop music vids (won a Grammy for my hometown star Eminems video for without me). I wish my Mom would've still been alive to hear this. She would've absolutely loved it, I wouldn't know a squirt of country music without her. Keith Whitley to this day is one of my favorite all time artists from any genre.

It’s also a mix of dolly partons I will always love you, and willie Nelson’s amazing song On the road again. It sounds amazing for 3 songs that sound totally different to fit so well, I’m surprised I never heard this until now. It is so goood
