@@wcho6754 When 2013 they already popular tho, they have won 6 rookie of the year. This is quite big because back then korea didn't have so many awards like now. But because they don't from a big agency, they didn't have a big promotion and can't really blow up, like you know promotion also requires money too. From another rookie who debuted on the same year with bts, they having biggest album sale. Also from all of the group who debuted in 2013, i think just bts and ladies code who can survive until now (CMIIW). If we look at groups who debuted in 2012, there are many groups who can survive like exo, btob, vixx, bap.

The thing that separates BTS from other groups is vocals. BTS was blessed with vocalists that have incredible uncommon ranges for males. Like look at a group like StrayKids with good dancers and rappers with attitude and energy! They are popular but just lost a vocalist and are struggling having the main rapper cover vocals...

I heard BTS from a friend of mine who is now in heaven.😭 She introduced BTS to me. (2013) I remembered how she eagerly and excitedly told me that there's a rookie name BTS who is perfectly good at performing. She forced me to watch their mv's and I tried watching them. And here I am still an ARMY. They are just a rookie at this time but the vibes they have, you can't explaine why you can feel goosebumps when you see them on stage. And up until now, they still have it. Tha strong aura that they posess.

You really captured the energy of the event. I found BTS in particular could generate excitement and crowd noise that approached Beatlemania levels. Also, BTS had some of the best dance moves at K-Con, which is saying a lot; all the performers were tight from Vixx (the first group to perform) on through to SNSD (the last group to perform). Glad to see you captured one of my favorite moves at 10:42. Thanks man! I know you might rather have been watching the concert than filming, and now we can all share in the fun.

I remember in 2014 watching all the kcon BTS fancams, trying to see every angle, every interview, every picture of them that day. I remember wishing I could be there but I was on the other side of the country. I remember being so happy to hear that people cheered so loudly for them. Coming back to see this after all that has happened the last few years makes me so emotional. The signs of their success in the U.S have always been there! How did we not know?! I love BTS so much and they deserve every bit of success that they get!

Honestly they didn’t start to have a lot of attention until about their 3rd album and Danger, now they’re the biggest boy band in the world. It’s insane. They were gaining enough attention to get on Kcon as the rookie act, but a lot of people still didn’t care for them at the time. I know plenty of people that went to Kcon that year for other groups/artists. I flew from Oregon to California for Kcon JUST to see them. I’m very lucky I was there from the beginning and got to experience a lot while their fan base was small🥺 I remember even smaller groups would go live on Mwave Meet & Greet back in the day and I still have signed Danger albums from when they were on there😭❤️

The only difference is that they didn't get much media coverage and that they were from a small company. They're debut was successful compared to the bg that debuted the same year _talking about sales (if I'm not mistaken) This kcon video also shows how popular they were (not only overseas tho, they were popular in Korea that time too,but as I said. It seems like BTS was already amassing a huge US fanbase back then. But as Kcons usually do, they introduced BTS to many others who didn't know bout them and BTS never fails to impress. They have massive, charismatic stage presence even back then and they are spectacular on stage and act very different compared to others in the way that they are very interactive and seemed very cool generating alot of curiosity. Plus I like how the songs sound (but that could be my bias now since i have heard the songs many times now). Like I would have definitely become a fan had I seen this. BTS i had accidently fallen upon a video of kpop boys being kidnapped (American Hustle Life) so all was good XD

this is soo nostalgic. 😂 at that time i heard a lot about how good they were as a rookie so i watched them with full of curiosity..and yes they slayed the performance beyond my expectation. the energy & charisma is beyond amazing specially considering they were still rookies. and we can see that they really put 700% of them when performing. love that attitude. 💜

Nostalgic trip back to this video because I saw a tweet that had 1 of the comments from here. And, as an Army since 2014, I am so so happy to see all the comments from like 6-7 years ago. I am sobbing at 2 in the morning y'all... and yes, this video just proves that BTS, my precious boys, have ALWAYS been famous in the US. They didn't need shit to prove or like get western validation with those 3 English singles that people have been crying about. THIS video right here just again showcases that they are made up of raw talent, hardwork, sheer determination, all in all, AN ORGANIC SUCCESS. Hella proud to be an Army. I love you all so much. So glad to be part of this wonderful family. Literally, because, finding and getting to know the boys and getting to be a part of this 1 big family is the only good thing that has ever happened in my life and the sole reason for my survival.
