I feel the dial in the case is a very useful feature, especially for the volume control as it is better than unlocking the phone and fiddling with the tiny volume keys. Controlling volume precisely from the buds, where supported, is even more difficult. This dial gives a larger and more tactile surface for that. Plus, we all carry the case around anyway whenever we use TWS, so why not make it useful as well, once the buds are removed?
