Correction....the King Cheetah is a genetic mutation of the Cheetah, not a sub-species as I had thought, but still I feel it is important to save and preserve ALL Cheetahs. The Cheetah is endangered more each year with their numbers rapidly declining.

King Cheetahs are not a species. It is a genetic mutation that the regular African Cheetah can be born with. To say they are an endangered species is misleading.
@call_me_mrhate1658 жыл бұрын
you are right! it's a genetic recessive gene
@NOUSNOKAY8 жыл бұрын
cheetahs are aalmost endangered..... 5-7 years and we can put them in the endangered list
@AlphaAngelX78 жыл бұрын
Also due to lack of mates cheetahs turn to breeding with siblings lowering genetic variation and endangering them more

Fifty!! My God why only fifty? What needs to be done to save them? They are soooo beautiful and an iconic species. Rare to begin with, but reduced to fifty...there has to be a zoo sponsored breeding program and extreme measures need to be taken to preserve them in the wild if it isn't already too late.

It's just a genetic mutation, not a subspecies or anything.

I did not know wild cats purr as well ;)
@TheropodHunter5 жыл бұрын
Only a few species can, the biggest cat that purrs is the Cougar, all panthera cats, Lions, Leopards, Tigers, Jaguars, etc... cannot purr as their throats are built differently.

That is not how a cheetah is supposed to live. They're wild animals and they don't enjoy being told what to do and cooped up in a cage. Even if it's a big cage. They need to be able to live life as they were intended and run free
@confidenceisthekeytosucces91258 жыл бұрын
I think this cat is a mutation and I think is great to have it caged up than out in the wild, so this people can give it the great care it needs and it limits other bad people who go hunting for them from not getting the chance to kill them and make coats or other disgraceful stuff.
@bbadrian0072 жыл бұрын
Yes, I agree. Cheetahs and all animals needs to be free in the nature

@christianguadron16138 жыл бұрын
30, very rare. But felines are very smart and wont allow themselves to caught by others animals. This is a true beauty and nature is beautiful.
