problem/question at the 20:00 mark why does she do damage with her amulet? the card says for "each hit cancelled by this hero's defense roll" if the attacker does 0 hits, then there are no hits to cancel out with a defense roll, right? so there should have been no damage done to the monster

There were using a prototype version with some cases of outdated text. As you can see, what she reads doesn't match the final card displayed. The amulet should work as you described, only cancelled hits deal wounds.

Love the game! I have a question regarding payback reaction. If a hero targets a monster that's 6 spaces away with a ranged attack, can that monster perform a payback if he can only use melee?? I wouldn't think he'd be able to, but some of my group disagrees. Any info is appreciated!

knowing how much exclusive stuff I'd be missing out on having learned of this game months after the kickstarter there's no way I could justify buying the extremely watered down retail version. Looks really fun though... maybe if they do a major stand alone expansion down the line via kickstarter though (assuming I even catch it).

Finally decided to consider purchasing this games since I love Eric Lang's other games. The price tag kinda turned me off for a while, but I caved a bit and am now on the fence. Watching this video has convinced me I need this game (and fortunately am just in time to back the Kickstarter for the new expansion.) Wow - Spencer really is bad at games. Why would you EVER choose 1 for Fortune Dice when the monster you are attacking needs 3 hits to kill it or it shrugs off the damage?

+coolminiornot Why there is no reward for the winner of a scenario??? We have choose to have a gold reward or switch characters, remove curses, etc. What is the purpose of not having a reward for the scenario winner included with the game? will we see rewards in future expansions?

Why attack a monster that you know won't die with less than 4 wounds in a single attack and then predict a 1 damage with Fortune Dice when getting the predicted result wouldn't kill it? Predicting 2 hits on that roll is a no-brainer.

May want to remove the music in the background, the players are hard enough to hear as it is.

Eric comes off as really smug and spencer should use the fortune dice on dice rolls of 2 or more attack power to kill most monsters considering they restore to full health unless killed.
