I do not know why, but CN’s C44-9Ws, as well as their ES44DCs that go from 2220 - 2289 have the most unique design out of all GE locomotives seen in North America, in my opinion. Despite them not being the rarest, I still think they’re really cool!

In Canada we don't call it "The CN". Just "CN." (Or "CNR" if your grandfather worked on the railway before they adopted the noodle logo in 1963, or toothpaste as some called it.) That's partly because it started out as a government crown corporation that bought up a whole bunch of bankrupt railways in the 1920s as "Canadian National Railways." There was never a "The" in the name. Some of the constituent railways had "the", like "The Grand Trunk Western", etc. But never the amalgamated corp. (The) Canadian Pacific not so sure about but I think most people leave out the "The".

BNSf train symbols are way too long. CSX is just plain confusing as you need to be a full on CSX Geek man. NS is also the same. But UP at least makes it learnable faster because it’s the basic format of TYPE OF TRAIN/STARTING LOCATION/DESTINATION/(if secondary version then it has a B). The ethanol symbols are insanely hard to
