one thing I noticed about the Ellen gameplay is that he never seem to use the EX1 to EX2 sharknami combo, seems to always go for EX1 to N3 immediately, I guess cause enhanced N3 just has the highest multiplier out of all of Ellen's kit + Sharknami EX2 is more of a CC attack

yea ive done testing and i think sharknami is not worth using ever unless u clear a bunch of mobs with it, cycling your n3 an extra time is alot more multiplier

I think one thing to note about not getting one shot late game, the game does not have a healer, so what ever damage you take, you got to hold that, unlike a game where the boss can 2 shot you, you usually have time to heal between that

Yeah, but these are instanced combats, that logic would apply to something like the Hollow Zero where you go from fight to fight (though you can heal with map effects). Also, lvl 40 units VS lvl 70 mobs and they were taking 20-25% HP, that is crazy. With lvl 70 units we're back to 20 hits to die. The endgame is just a DPS check, we'll have to just accept it.

1.0 wasnt even hard for the type of enemies it has it was hard cause the floor applied a debuff on your team that gave you a crio aura and drained stamina like a mf so you could not dodge as much as you normally would but they changed that after 1 or 2 patches

13:00 lycaon does not need to intiate the break. As long lycaon hits the target during the stunned phase (normally with stun assist) the enemy will gain the +35% dmg window edit: nvm he corrected himself later

That's the funny thing. Yea this person is using lvl 40 units but if anyone thinks that a majority of the people complaining the game is too mashy/easy are going to clear it by just mashing are buggin. They might not die from the boss but they will never do the damage necessary to clear. This person looks to have a clear understanding of how to max their damage and just managed a B rank clear. I'm really looking forward to the ramped difficulty they promised later on.

I hate those who waste their time complaining or starting controversies but you have to admit, this game is one of the easiest gachas I have seen so far. I mean come on, clearing the entire endgame in the first week of launch? with lvl 40 units no less? Usually whales pull this stuff after c6ing their units, Im willing to bet they will be able to max clear this abyss in a few days. I hope the "promise" will come soon because what is present rn is disappointing af, cause this isnt hard at all chief.

But what I am saying is that you can’t clear what is deemed the hardest content right now by mashing basics and parrying when you see a flash. I am curious as to how hard people want it to be exactly. I do want endgame to be ramped up for sure later on but at the same time It’s a gacha and gachas want everyone to be able to play to keep making money.

15:58 it seems as if even though the stun was triggered by ellen, you can see it says 150% but after Lycaon swaps in and does his part, it goes up to 175% In other words you don't need to trigger it with Lycaon, you can proc it during the combo

There are healers but they are not Agents, you have the option to use a Bangboo healer type which is what i use to clear Hollow Zero and Shiyu. It works for me.

The healer bangboo is the Avocaboo. I think it's better to always pick that in Hollow Zero however in other content, go with your prefer S rank Bangboo instead

You can use Ben to shield your team but other than that there are 2 bangboos that can heal I think

Seen the argument/comparison too often. I personally dont understand the constant comparison to hologram 5/6 "one shot difficulty." Even in WuWa tower didnt one shot you, and the bosses there were a lot easier than the hardest versions in hologram. We were doing tower 30-40 lvls under, and the only difficulty was the bosses having too much hp on stage 4/middle stages. Doijg content under leveled i felt that i took similar damage and had to put similar effort for higher floors in shiyu defense vs higher floors in tower in wuwa

it is not the same tho. Wuwa bosses have more variety of attacks. There are quick attacks that are hard to react to, like memphis spear, aix tail swipe etc that dont deal as much damage. There are combo attacks like crown less combos or level 100 ToA memphis, and one shot attacks like aix headbutt, memphis light show, etc. Even with level 80 chars, heavy attacks still one shot or do 80-90% of your character's health. Plus ZZZ's bosses are way more static, bareky moving, and slower attacks. I'm not dogging on zzz combat, but to 30 star ToA, the main issue aside from dps check is definitely boss dmg potentially one shooting you. ZZZ is more of dps check with less emphasis on maximing ur rotations and that is fine. Simply just 2 different end game. You can't maximize dps as easy anyway when aix flies away a couple times to do his combos. Some people prefer zzz and some prefer wuwa, both are fine. But let's not spread misinfo on the game tho. Just enjoy it as it is

The hologram aside of having higher damage and hp pool, they are given new mechanics. The Monkey boss summons smaller monkeys to attack between combos, Mourning Aix now punish you with ring attacks if you don't parry his grab attack, Tempest Mephist summon another clone to attack together and throw off your timing with a different attack. Dunno about Heron since that one was kinda easy on the lower diff, and I haven't tried Crownless. As for the tower, it's more of a dps check than a skill issue.

I wonder if day4 CN bro can clear faster if he decide to use disorder mechanic (2 elements reaction).. all his team/play style weren't made to utilize it at all. especially his Grace team which has no attacker and breaker so its more reasonable to go full anomaly + swap spam element between Grace and Lucy to causes disorder instead of just spamming Grace... perhaps sole lightning weakness gives more benefit ?

@@LuZErTX disorder is a mechanic that procs damage when you do 2 elements on top of each other. for example Grace spam until enemy get "Shock" (and they turned blue) then you use Lucy spam until enemy change to "Burn" (they turned red). when this occurs it will also procs "disorder" as extra damage which scaling from Anomaly stats point. disorder damage can ramp up to almost 80k from what I've seen in Lucy+Piper full anomaly team (with Fire+Physical) but that was against same level enemies so I'm not sure if the anomaly scaling could work against higher lvl enemies in highest floor of Shiyu defense

This game goes the way of Honkai Imapact 3rd. Here problem will be not to survive but to deal enough dmg. New bosses will be mechanically done to be bitten by specific new 5 star characters. Otherwise you might not do it in time.

Keep in mind this game doesn’t have any healers, so having mobs not one shot, at least for now, is fine. I don’t see why people want a game to have bosses that just flat out one shot u, especially for a mode u have to repeat every 2 weeks. It’s fine if u want mobs to attack back more often, but wanting them to one shot u with 0 sustains in the game? Nah bro. This ain’t Elden ring or a souls game, I feel like that’s kinda lost on this community. Gacha games by nature are casual. So complaining that it’s “too easy” is kinda just like… that’s the point. If every single week u had to sweat out of ur mind just to get ur weekly gems took u 5-6 hours to full clear because every single boss one shot u, I guarantee u 90% of the playerbase would quit. Having it in something like the holograms in wuwa is ok, as that is a mode that isn’t required to be cleared every week. But for shiyu defense, I’m pretty sure 80% of the playerbase would either skip the mode or quit if every single stage had mobs and bosses that one shot you without having any sustains in the game to counter balance it. Seeing as most of the playerbase is casual.

It makes sense that enemies cant one shot you. The game has only one "shielder" and no healers so you can only make a number of mistakes before your characters die. But in games like wuwa even if you go to 1% hp verina can just heal you back up to full.

Well, in an instanced based combat game where you can restart the fight immediately, one shots wouldn't be much of a problem. But you have to remember the characters in this video are lvl 40 and the boss is 70, and it hits for 25% of the player's HP. I would expect a boss that almost doubles you in lvl to one ore two shot you, with lvl 70 characters it'll take even more hits to die.

People still can’t grasp how increased hp pool with no new mechanics isn’t difficult and doesn’t require secret fighting game tech to clear. Gatcha games will never be “hard” as long as someone can whale and clear all content with their wallet and can be cleared with good enough gear and moderate skill. Sure it’s not completely face roll but stop pretending like you have to be an all knowing pro gamer to clear gatcha game content lol. We all know the mobs are the real threat here not the boss. Like the person in the video also focus on killing the mob first. I remember genshin abyss 1.0 being worse since it also has dumb floor debuff on top of everything.

That's how HI3 endgame works too. I'm not surprised. Boss does the same 3-4 moves 5min straight😂 Difference is HI3 boss designs are predatory. In a sense that they will have certain mechanics that entice you to pull the featured banner char. Do watch out when playing this game.

If you don’t kill within the time limit, you’re fucked. MoC is also a DPS check with it’s cycles. You could have Fu Xuan and Aventurine as your sustains, making you immortal but if you don’t clear within 10 cycles, you’re also fucked lmfao

I was expecting the endgame to be just a DPS check vs hp sponges, but getting hit for 20% of your HP by a boss almost double your lvl is crazy. People mention in the comments that there's no healer in ZZZ so it's ok to die in 4 to 5 hits, but remember people, this was with lvl 40 characters, with lvl 70 characters we're back to 15-20 hits to die, that is pretty insane.

to be fair we had sweetily beating hollogram 6 on encore level 60 solo 30 levels below XD equal level fights in wuwa feel easy too if you play them with a team now that everyone catch up, gachas are easy, the diference was that we were starved on stamina in wuwa doing talents etc but not in zzz, so far i have my teams maxed on talents and everything with mats to spare at my level, the weird thing is that we put an standard on game combat for gachas and the argument is that it is mid if they dont one shot you? this was literally the reason people was rioting in elden ring, bosses one shotting people and gettting them frustrated lmao nitpicking is so weird in the gaming community, asmon had to do a cheese build that literally just holds block and makes every boss mechanic in the dlc meaningless so everyone start copying the tank build, is so heavy you cant even roll.
