The parents who tried talking their son out of dancing are misguided. Their son can hold down a job while doing dance if he wants to. In the 21st century, the notion of a single-track career no longer exists. The current generation is multi-skilled and multi-talented in many disciplines.

Unfortunetly dancing has no future, however i do agree we should follow the Swedish modle which they implimented over 5 years ago that's to put in a 5 hour work day that will allow people to follow their passions maybe in the future we can have 3 hour work day if we advance technology enough so that a 9-12 will allow people to pratice their craft

That’s good there is a place to teach kids who do not go to college semi skilled jobs. My parents at 15 told me to get a job if I wanted extra money. I worked 28 hrs a week all year long in HS all the way till I was a senior. In USA teens do not work anymore till after college or in their early 20s. The last 15 years parents force their kids to only go to college. A large amount of them are failures who still live at home and have crappy jobs. I wish we had this school in the USA.

Too bad that most of kids are quit their studies due to difficulties in understanding Malay. But i really hope that government can do something better to help them , unfortunately Chinese and Indian are minority , so looks like not possible.

Sin Ziyue really so ungrateful... after failing her PSLE and being fortunate enough to be given one more chance, she still want to screw that chance up. The cafe owner and the school are kind enough to offer her an internship, but she gives bad attitude at work. She's wasting others' money by staying in school. She'd already hit rock bottom by failing her PSLE, how much further down does she want to go?

Everyone can work well if given the right work and coaching. Ziyue needs more praise n encouragement, n be placed in the right job. F n B requires a lot of skills, she does not derive joy from serving customers, need to get that right first.
