My husband grew up under his brother's shadow. Brother is now an egoccentric, know-it-all annoying person, who unfortunately grew up blinded by his own brightness. @@joaquimramis4124 this is so bittersweet. On one hand, it's beautiful to see parents nurture their kids' creativity and curiosity in such a positive and constructive way, makes me think this is how parenting should be done. On the other hand, how many people are doomed to miss their growth potential because their parents don't have the time and resources like these ones do? I love my parents and appreciate how hard they work, but we were robbed of so much time together in order to pay bills and keep a roof that they're practically strangers. I was raised by screens, disconnected from my family's culture, feel out of place with my own family, and the more I think about this whole situation literally billions of other people are in, the more disturbing this whole system is.
@2DarkHorizon
@2DarkHorizon 2 жыл бұрын
@@geobot9k It is very natural it is like that. Everyone is taught go to school at 5, but not to learn before then, then go to uni and then get a job. Then get married. In life we all pushed to do things in a conventional way. How to love someone how to speak how to sing how to walk how to dance. So I don't feel bad about it. I read about prodigies growth and experience. basically learning can start at day 1 for a baby or even in the womb of the mother. So such parents are unconventional and different. Therefore will get results that are different. It is a road which has its own dangers. Growing up very intelligent or at least very educated changes you as a person you will need other support measures in place and your own parents may not even be capable or have the natural fortitude for it. Look at South Korea and their society and their low birth rate. This type of living where extreme emphasis on education isn;t for everyone. Also top Ivy league university take extracurricular activities into account because they understood learning outside of school is very valid.

@@virtuallylightblue that pretty doable, still really impressive, if it was a pivoting engine I would be impressed, a motor stored away in the bay is pretty doable, just a lot trial and error, a lot a lot.
