Absolutely Amazing. Appreciate seeing different options in how to reduce and change the palate of leftover carbs.

I used to work at a food distribution center. We threw away so much food. The supervisor won’t let the workers take the food home. I was planning on giving it away to low-income families but they said it would be a liability.

Not unless people experienced hunger, they won't think about wasting food. When people internalize the value of producing their own food, they'll understand my sentiment.

Is the green asparagus in Singapore different in some way? I've never heard of anyone peeling it; the Nigerian guy did it absolutely correctly.

love this concept, i personally hate food wastage as well so i'll be keeping an eye for uploads! i wonder if there's an unsold bread distribution place in KL like the one shown in the video.

This is the reason why some high end bakeshops sell inventories at the end of the day at big discounts.

With the fish I would've made a fish chowder. I use catfish and make the fish stock from the bones.

I am hooked on this series! Also, Isaac's flannel shirt @ 8:31 must have been from a zero waste textile factory. j/k Thanks for the awesome series.

This absurd... If you want to avoid waste, cook less... IT IS NOT OK TO PREP A LOT OF FOOD AND LATER TRY TO BE CREATIVE ON WHAT MAKE WITH THE GARBAGE! THIS IS WRONG!

Yes, I truly agree on this! I cook for my family of 3 and we do not have leftovers. Even marketing, just buy what I need and nothing more. Even eating out, my hubby n I will share a meal n sides and we are full. No wastage at all. Furthermore, leftover food are not good for health too.

@9:58 I'm sorry but are you sure you are able to verify this? Half the calories for the same amount and type of food? Just because you freeze it and change its chemical structure? I don't think so. Can you link the studies that justify this? Also, I find it very disturbing that you associated eating as 'guilt'; this is a very disordered way of thinking and I truly do not condone this. How would you think someone with an eating disorder would feel if they saw this? Please be more mindful with your words from now on.
