US tariffs on EU exports will give the UK a huge amount of leverage in the Brexit negotiations. Keep up the good work.

You need to establish the definition of Free Trade or any negotiation you try is useless. Remember the word Free is in the definition. Get the definition agreed to and your on the way to “Free Trade” Not Tariffs.

His first major statement makes no sense . "The objective is to have 3% growth". This means 3% inflation per year and ever escalating debt simultaneously depreciating USD purchasing power, which amounts to a lower standard of living for the vast majority of the public. Growth that costs more then revenue is not "net growth" therefore should not be contemplated by people that are in Washington to fix problems , presumably for the sake of the nation's well being . Mnuchin is a Corporate Fascist and should be interviewed by someone that can navigate his rhetoric . Shame on CNBC for such a weak interview on such an important topic.

He lost me at "the President is focused". Then he lost me again by claiming that sanctions against North Korea have worked. if so, why hasn't Trump signed the sanctions against Russia, which have been sitting on Trump's desk after receiving almost unanimous bipartisan support in Congress? I guess we're not interested in sanctions against the country that interfered in our elections.

All MSNBC and other propaganda networks can say is "It Could" bring job losses, mass inflation , trade wars. that's all they say! They cant say "It Will". Just morons reading a page that's handed to them and predicting made up scenarios. So calm down and lets see.

You are talking about this as if this is not a known scenario. Trade wars have been historically bad. These are facts. This is not Propaganda, its just stating the obvious. This is not the first time this has happen, all you have to do is look at the previous results and consequences.

Salvador Ivan Molina Molina so u think its okay for others to screw us over as long as it makes the elites happy? Nixon & Bush doesn’t have the guts to turn this into a real trade war. They give in to the pressure.
