It's noteworthy how in Africa, a vast majority of innovations, including AI, are predominantly spearheaded by foreign corporations. This raises a pertinent question: How can discussions about Africa's technological landscape be fully representative if they are not led by African voices? This panel, with the exception of Cassava, seems to miss an authentic African perspective, highlighting the need for more inclusive representation in conversations about Africa's digital future.
