Of all the variations of this platform, 68-72 Chevelle, LeMans, Skylark, Cutlass, GTO, 442, GSX, etc... the 69 Cutlass has always been my favorite. Just look at that thing in motion. It's beautiful! Nice job, Billy G.

Met him at LAX last year. My daughter was flying unaccompanied minor and he and his family were on the same flight. He kept an eye on her all the way to Philadelphia. Solid guy!

It is so good to see this show Jay lived around the block from me when I was a kid. He still had all-black hair the night before the first time he did the tonight show with Johny Carsonin the 70s took me for a ride in his TIGER at about 2 am he could not sleep he drove on the sm freeway at 125 mph I will never forget it. so cool! I was 14 years old.

Cutlass was a great car! I've owned 2, put 300k mi. on one. Dad bought a new CS in 73, top of the line - white, white leather. Had it 20 years. Olds was doomed when they quit making them.

Sad to watch all of GM become front drive clones of each other. The 60s snd early 70s were their glory days imo.

I had a '69 convertible, red with black interior. Sold it years ago. Still kicking myself over that one. Saw Billy in a commercial recently which included the Cutlass. Had no idea that it was his car.

Had a 69 Cutlass convertible my dad bought new. I was disappointed that he didn't get the 442. When my brother, in his 74 Trans Am and me in my 69 Cutlass got too many tickets he sold them both for Ford Fiestas. The Olds is still my all time favorite car.

My first car was a '72 Cutlass, very similar except the rear fender "eyebrows." Had the Olds 350 (different than Chevy) and if it made 200 hp I would be surprised. I still have dreams of owning it. Unfortunately, here in Central Florida those cars didn't last long. Trunk lid and door bottoms had cancer by '78.

It's missing the two chrome side strips that run from front to back at the top of the crease. I bought one of these after I saw a '68 in a Chicago music video.

When I was a kid, my favorite car was the ‘69 442. Gobs of smooth, quiet , torque. Now, nearing 70 I drive a Tesla, same experience but more sophisticated. I only hope I can drive it a couple of more years before it starts driving me.

05:30 Jay: "You're now a boy's husky". So funny, Jay! Of course you couldn't call a child that today, as it would be politically incorrect, in addition to longer being accurate. What was once called "husky" is now called "average".
