Charter, Comcast, and the other Internet service providers are going to face increasing competition from mobile-phone companies and low-orbit satellite companies, so the notion that cable and satellite television is irrelevant to these entities is really short-sighted. The industry is slowly changing. Many people do still have cable and satellite television. The Walt Disney Company has been doing all of the right things to build streaming alternatives to cable and satellite television without accelerating cord cutting.

They call it cord-cutting 2.0; people cut cable but retain internet service from that cable provider. Cutting internet next for 5g or fibers or satellites is cordcutting 2.0. I read a comprehensive study on this; broadband will keep dropping for those companies throughout 2024; so it's gonna be a tough year for Comcast and Charter having to deal with (cordcutting)X2. However, growth will resume in 2025; how much growth? no idea.

all legacy media companies are facing the same headwinds; EPS up 20% is unheard of from old media today yet Disney made that. What are the things that couldn't be fixed? cause I only see upside except for linear of course.
