Literally picked the worst 2 people to host this conversation. Thank goodness Mark was there to keep it alive.

Why are they questioning and picking down at this entrepreneur's product, whose product they are promoting and booking on the show? How is this a winning concept for CNBC? Idk it just felt a little dystopian. Progress is coming, and kids knowing the engineering is essential, especially in the US, and this product seems pretty good towards that goal.

Mark Rober is a national treasure! I'd say he needs a TV show, but that would limit his reach and creative genius. I'm 47, love his videos, and I really want to get his boxes for my grandson. Hopefully, I can scrape together the $300 soon.

It's a shame Mark didn't get a good interview because he's so engaging. He clearly is more passionate about the engineering and science behind his channel and crunchlabs than the revenue and yet that seemed to be all they asked about.

Mark's passion for education and creativity shines through despite the hosts' focus on profits. It's clear his heart is in the right place, inspiring the next generation. The interview could have been so much more if it delved into the educational impact rather than just the financials.

I think the hosts are missing the point here, they seem more interested in the financials and profitability of this company as well as the scalability, but miss the point that this is just an extension of his KZbin videos where he is trying to educate folks through large-scale videos. The videos are the true branding and money-maker for him not necessarily the boxes

The segment was called “Creator Economy” so they were talking financials. As a huge MR fan and subscriber I support what he’s doing and the value of it. Irrespective of the differences in agenda, the hosts were doing their job and Mark knew, having been there before what that was. I’m guessing he had to bringing in a sizable amount of revenue before he could begin to offer his build boxes to those unable to afford it. I’m pleased to see that he’s beginning to get there. TBH that was what I had hoped for at the outset.

It's downright pathetic how these dimwitted hosts are so obsessed with the company's profits and scalability, completely blind to the fact that it's just an extension of his KZbin channel where he educates people through massive projects. I can't. I worked as a PA in the newsroom and graduated to producer and this talent clearly doesn't have the awareness, understanding and compassion for the subject matter and or the guest. It's frustrating to watch because they know prior whose going to be on the show. Thankfully Mark took it all in stride. Hopefully, he gets on another news show that understands his talent, demographic and passion.

How about STEAM - add ART to STEM.
@spencerbrady24259 күн бұрын
The whole reason they made STEM was to highlight these subjects and draw attention to the important jobs that can shape the future. We just need more stem graduates. ART IS VERY IMPORTANT. But the arts are just observers of the world, not drivers of it. It’s easy to support as a school because graduates of Science Technology Engineering and Math programs earn wildly more than people that study art. ART IS IMPORTANT (just not as important as STEM). If anything we should add a B for business in there somewhere. STEMB? B-STEM?
