Because it’s a Ponzi scheme being put on by Builders/Realtors/Salesmen pushing this stupid narrative about supply. Guess what that argument doesn’t work when incomes and prices are so wildly out of whack. This’ll correct. I don’t know how or when but hey maybe we’ll go a decade where prices don’t do anything. Home prices are a result of incomes. Not financial engineering/debt don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

There isn't one. Same thing happened in the bubble. Everyone had huge equity in their homes and if they wanted to trade up, it would take evey dime to get into their next home. All they were doing was trading dollars for dollars.

stocks are overrated now. buy gold , 5% in crypto . rest in cash. and wait for the stock/property/land. price to crash . but them after it stops dropping for 7 - 12 months at the bottom.
