Let's keep the World's foremost semi-conductor chip manufacturing and developing strictly in Taiwan, then let China take over Taiwan, grab that technology, which it will use to improve their military, as well as selling those chips to Russia, and improve Russia's military, and then potentially cut off our supply, thereby hurting our military applications for tanks, radar, guided missiles, ships, planes, etc. That'd be a great idea. You are the definition of being penny wise, pound foolish.
